Calgary Military Museums Society
Amateur Radio Volunteers Wanted!
The Military Museums’ education programs offer a critical view of
Canada’s identity and diversity through curriculum-connected
programming. They are seeking volunteers for a new math program that
includes morse code:
In “Break the Cipher” you will help students create and break WWI
German ciphers and codes. Since morse code was the primary method of
transmitting coded messages, "Break the Cipher" includes hands on
demonstrations of sending and receiving morse code, using keys,
sounders, and headphones. Volunteers with knowledge of morse code are
needed to demonstrate its use.
Training, orientation and program overview are provided by the Museum.
